Booking a bounce house in San Antonio is easy. Booking the right company takes about ten minutes of questions. A good company shows up on time with a clean unit, anchors it properly for your yard, and picks it up when they said they would. A bad one can leave you with no bounce house two hours before the party.
This checklist from All Texas Party Rentals covers what to compare before you pay a deposit. It works whether you book with us or anyone else in Greater San Antonio.
Quick answer
Pick a bounce house company that:
- Publishes real prices on its site, not just “call for pricing”
- Explains its cleaning process (what it does between rentals)
- Anchors for your surface: stakes on grass, sandbags on concrete or indoors
- Confirms it delivers to your address and gives a delivery window
- Has recent reviews that mention on-time delivery and pickup
- Walks you through the rules at setup (capacity, shoes off, no water in dry units)
The sections below explain each one and what to ask.
1. Real prices you can see before you call
A company with a live online catalog lets you compare units and budget before you talk to anyone. Look for “from” prices on each unit and a quote that shows the total for your date and address.
For reference, in our own bounce house catalog, classic and toddler bounce houses start at $129, and combos with slides (some with pools) start at $199. Water slides are listed separately. (These are live catalog “from” prices as of October 2026. Check the catalog for today’s numbers.)
Ask: “Is this the total, or are there delivery, setup, or generator charges on top?”
2. A cleaning process they will actually describe
Kids put their hands and faces all over inflatable vinyl. Ask what happens between rentals. A good answer is specific.
Our process, as published on our FAQ page: after each rental, every unit is cleaned with commercial vinyl cleaners, disinfected, sanitized, and then inspected before it goes out again. Our units are made from lead-free vinyl.
Ask: “What do you clean the units with, and how often?” If the answer is vague, keep looking.
3. Anchoring that matches your setup surface
An inflatable has to be secured. How depends on where it goes:
- Grass: long steel stakes
- Concrete, asphalt, driveways, gyms, or indoors: sandbags or other weights
Tell the company your surface when you book so the crew brings the right anchoring. Also mention slopes, sprinkler heads, septic lids, and low branches.
Ask: “How will you anchor it on my surface?” If you’re hosting at a park, read our park party rentals page first. Rules on stakes and generators vary by park.
4. A clear delivery area and delivery window
“We serve all of Texas” is not a delivery plan. A local company should name the areas it actually covers and confirm your address on the quote.
All Texas Party Rentals delivers across Greater San Antonio, including Kirby, Leon Valley, Converse, Live Oak, Elmendorf, Schertz, Universal City, Selma, and New Braunfels. We confirm your address when you request a quote. Full list: service areas.
For reference, most of our inflatables are 24-hour rentals: we drop off on the event day and pick up the next day.
Ask: “What time window will you arrive, and when is pickup?”
5. Reviews that talk about showing up
Star ratings are a start. Read the text. The best reviews mention the things that go wrong at parties: late crews, no-shows, units that weren’t secured.
A few Google reviews from our customers:
“Booking was easy, they showed up on time with the blowup bounce house and combo slide I had ordered for my child’s birthday. Set everything up and secured in place, and came back the next day to take down.” (Katherine W.)
“We had been scammed online by a different rental company and they never showed they day of our daughters 2nd birthday party. So last minute I called All Texas Party Rentals and they got out there within two hours and saved the day!!!” (James M.)
That second review is a good warning. If a “company” only exists as a social media post with no website, address, or reviews, be careful with deposits. More on our reviews page.
6. Paperwork for schools, churches, and HOAs
Schools, churches, HOAs, and some venues have their own requirements before an inflatable goes up, such as insurance paperwork, setup rules, or approved vendor lists. Ask any company early whether it can meet your organization’s requirements, and get the answer in writing before the event.
Planning an organization event? See school event rentals, church event rentals, and HOA event rentals, and mention your venue’s requirements when you request a quote.
7. Power and water questions answered up front
A bounce house blower runs the whole rental, so it needs power the whole time. A good company asks about outlets and suggests a generator when there isn’t one nearby. Generators on our equipment list commonly start around $100.
If you want water play, only book units designed for water. Never put a hose in a dry bounce house. Our slides & combos page lists the wet units.
8. A setup walkthrough, not a drop-and-go
When the crew finishes setup, they should explain:
- Capacity for that specific unit
- Height and weight guidelines
- Shoes off, no sharp objects, no silly string or soap
- What to do if something goes wrong (get everyone off the unit, then call the company)
Our crew covers these at every setup. The basics are also on our FAQ page.

FAQ
How far in advance should I book a bounce house in San Antonio?
Book as soon as you know your date, especially for spring and summer weekends. Popular units and combos book up first. Our online catalog shows which units are available for your date.
Is a cheaper bounce house rental always a worse deal?
Not always. Compare the total quote, including delivery, setup, pickup, and any generator. Then compare cleaning, anchoring, and reviews. A low price from a company that doesn’t show up costs you the party.
What questions should I ask a bounce house company before booking?
Ask for the total price, how the unit is cleaned, how it will be anchored on your surface, the delivery and pickup windows, whether they deliver to your address, and whether they can meet any paperwork requirements your venue or organization has.
How do I know if a bounce house is clean?
Ask the company to describe its process. All Texas Party Rentals cleans every unit after each rental with commercial vinyl cleaners, then disinfects, sanitizes, and inspects it before the next event.
Do bounce house companies deliver outside San Antonio city limits?
Many do, within a set area. All Texas Party Rentals delivers across Greater San Antonio and nearby suburbs such as Kirby, Leon Valley, Converse, Live Oak, Elmendorf, Schertz, Universal City, Selma, and New Braunfels. We confirm your address on the quote.
