Parks and pavilions
- Pleasanton River Park hosts evening concerts during Pleasanton’s Cowboy Heritage Days.
- Jourdanton City Pavilion. The city park was renovated with help from EOG Resources and volunteers. You reserve the pavilion at Jourdanton City Hall (830-769-3589). The City requires security whenever alcohol is served on city property, arranged through the Jourdanton Police Department.
- Lytle: Juan J. Garcia Sr. Pavilion at John Lott Municipal Park (19010 Live Oak St.). Built in 1977 for parties, dances and concerts, it has a stage, restrooms and more than 4,000 sq ft of covered space. The City’s rules say no inflatables and no vehicles in the park, so tables, chairs, concessions and games are the way to go there.
Community events worth planning around
- Poteet Strawberry Festival, held each April in the “Strawberry Capital of Texas” at the festival grounds on N. State Hwy 16. 2026 was the 79th festival. Proceeds fund youth scholarships and support local strawberry growers, and the festival board is drawn from local groups such as the Poteet Lions Club, Volunteer Fire Department and VFW Post 6970.
- Cowboy Heritage Days in Pleasanton, which calls itself the “Birthplace of the Cowboy.” It has been held in August in recent years, with a rodeo, a parade, a BBQ cook-off, a cowboy breakfast and concerts at the Atascosa County Show Barn and Pleasanton River Park.

Frequently asked questions
Can I bring a bounce house to the Lytle pavilion?
No. The City of Lytle’s rules for the Juan J. Garcia Sr. Pavilion at John Lott Municipal Park say no inflatables. Rent tables, chairs, concessions and yard games for the pavilion instead, or host the bounce house at home.
Do you deliver to Poteet, Jourdanton and Leming?
Yes. They’re all in our Atascosa County service area along with Pleasanton and Lytle. Delivery fees are calculated by distance at checkout.
How far ahead should I book in Atascosa County?
As early as you can, especially for big setups. Larger setups may need extra lead time for farther towns, and festival weekends like the Poteet Strawberry Festival are busy across the area.
